This half term our Year 4 Geography Topic is ‘Why are Rainforests Important to us?’ To support our Geography learning we have arranged a visit to The Living Rainforest.

During the day the children will be given a tour by museum experts focusing on ‘Amazing Adaptations’. The tour focuses on how plants and animals have adapted to suit living in a rainforest environment. It discusses the different layers of the rainforest including microhabitats and how adaptation can lead to evolution over time.

If your child is entitled to a free school meal and you would like their packed lunch to be provided by our kitchen please order this via School Gateway choosing the packed lunch/school trip option by 13th June.
